Cookie policy

The short version
Shiftpier uses only the cookies it needs to work: to keep you signed in and to remember which business you last opened. We do not use advertising cookies, analytics cookies, or tracking from other companies. That is why you do not see a cookie banner.
What a cookie is
A cookie is a small piece of text a website stores in your browser so it can recognise you on the next page or the next visit.
Cookies we set
| Cookie | What it is for | How long it lasts |
|---|---|---|
| Sign-in session (name starts with “sb-” and ends with “-auth-token”) | Keeps you signed in as you move between pages | Until you sign out or it expires |
| sp_last_org | Remembers the last business you opened, so you land there next time. Never used to decide what you may see | 1 year |
All of these are set by Shiftpier itself, not by another company’s website.
Separately, if you choose light or dark mode, that choice is saved in your browser’s own storage on that device. It is never sent to us.
Turning cookies off
You can block or delete cookies in your browser’s settings. If you block these, you will not be able to stay signed in to Shiftpier.
If this changes
If we ever add a cookie that is not strictly needed, we will update this page first and ask for your consent where the law requires it.
